Albert Park Lake Regattas
The Albert Park Regatta is a masters regatta hosted by APSM and the Melbourne Argonauts Rowing Clubs under the auspices of Rowing Victoria. It is held in April or May each year over a 1000m course which finishes at the ASPM end of the lake. Boats are launched from APSM.
The Albert Park Grand Prix is an 8 km race which began in 2009 and is part of the Victorian Sculling Association’s Winter Sculling Series. It features a mass start and a starting grid with pole position awarded to the sculler judged to be fastest by the organizers. The race comprises two anti-clockwise laps of the lake.
